2025年1月8日、警察庁は中国系のハッカー集団「MirrorFace(ミラーフェース)」が2019年から2024年にかけて、日本の安全保障や先端技術に関する情報を標的にし、210件のサイバー攻撃を行っていたことを明らかにしました。攻撃対象や手口から、中国政府が関与している可能性があると指摘しています。
当社も昨年はハッキングをはじめとしたセキュリティ攻撃に苦しみました。具体的な内容は明かせませんが、当社の優秀なエンジニアがいろいろな手段を講じて対策してくれました。海外からの攻撃は昨年から非常に多くなっていることを感じます。正直何の意味があるのか、愉快犯なのかわかりませんが、単なる企業のWebサイトでさえ攻撃対象となるのが悲しいですね。
なかなか進んでいない情報セキュリティマネジメント試験の勉強ですが、さすがに2月は受けたいと思うのでいろんなものをシャットアウトさせていただきます。
On January 8, 2025, the National Police Agency revealed that the Chinese hacker group “MirrorFace” had carried out 210 cyberattacks targeting information related to Japan’s national security and advanced technology between 2019 and 2024. Based on the attack targets and methods, the agency pointed out the possibility of involvement by the Chinese government.
Our company also suffered from security attacks, including hacking, last year. Although our talented engineers took various measures to counter them, I feel that attacks from overseas have significantly increased since last year. Honestly, I don’t understand the purpose – whether it’s for fun or something else – but it’s disheartening that even ordinary corporate websites can become targets.
Although my studies for the Information Security Management exam haven’t been progressing well, I definitely want to take the exam in February. Therefore, I will be shutting out various distractions.
