今現在、神宮で歴代本塁打数一番は現二軍監督の池山隆寛の304号なので、記録を抜くのは時間の問題です。いろんな人たちの記録を抜いていくためには、試合に出続けなければならないわけで、結果だけ見れば忖度があってもしかたがないと思われるかもしれないけど、哲人のように神宮球場行くと声援が大きい選手は、数あるヤクルトの選手いても数人しかいないものなのだよ。それがスターであり。みんながそれを目指すんだけど、やはり同じような体格やスキルを持つ人間たちの中では、自分の立ち位置を知り、どこであれば結果を出せるのかを首脳陣に伝えていかなければならないわけです。
明日神宮に行く予定なので、明日もホームランを期待しています。

Over the past three seasons, his performance has been underwhelming, and there were growing concerns that he might soon be used only as a pinch hitter. But today, batting fifth in the starting lineup, he crushed a two-run homer in his very first at-bat — a truly meaningful 300th!
Currently, the all-time home run leader at Jingu Stadium is Takahiro Ikeyama, the current farm team manager, with 304 homers. At this pace, it’s only a matter of time before Yamada surpasses that record.
To break records like these, a player needs to stay in the lineup consistently. Sure, from a pure numbers perspective, it might seem like the team is giving him special treatment. But players like Tetsuto, who receive such loud cheers every time they step into the batter’s box at Jingu, are rare — even on a team like the Swallows. That’s what makes a true star.
