【速報】2024年度「経営コンサルタント」の倒産が過去最多 専門領域の分散化で“経営のプロ”の生き残り競争が激化
2024年度（速報）の経営コンサルタント業の倒産が151件（前期比3.4％増）に達した。2005年に集計を開始以降で最多だった2023年度の146件を上回り、過去最多を更新した。
独立したてで経営コンサルやりますなんてまずありえない。経営コンサルは実際に経営をしていい時も割るときも経験していくことではじめてできることがほとんど。本でかじっただけの机上の空論をかざしても心に刺さらない。経営コンサルを入れる中小企業なんて、沈没する船に乗るようなもの。もちろん実績のある経営コンサルもいるが、それは非常に勉強したか、事業経験が豊富にある人。若造にできる仕事ではないよ。
本でかじっただけで経営コンサルと名乗っていた人、過去にいましたよ。どこに行ったか。本を出す能力だけはあったようですが。騙されてはならないよ。一番の経営コンサルは自分でしかない。自分で解決していくしかない。
Record-High Number of Business Consultant Bankruptcies in FY2024 — Intensifying Survival Race Amid Specialization Diversification
In FY2024 (preliminary figures), the number of bankruptcies among business consultants reached 151 cases, a 3.4% increase from the previous year. This surpasses the previous record of 146 cases in FY2023—the highest since statistics began in 2005.
It’s almost unthinkable for someone to just declare, “I’m going to be a business consultant” right after becoming independent. True business consulting is something you can only do effectively after experiencing the highs and lows of running a business yourself. Just reading a few books and tossing around theoretical concepts doesn’t resonate with real business owners. For small businesses, hiring a business consultant can sometimes be like boarding a sinking ship. Of course, there are some truly capable consultants—but those are usually people who have studied extensively or have a wealth of hands-on business experience. It’s not a job for someone who’s still green.
