「芸能界」も年度末…退所・卒業・移籍続々 窪田正孝、国仲涼子ら事務所退所 KAT-TUNも解散
きょう3月31日は、令和6年度の年度末。芸能界では、俳優・窪田正孝や女優の国仲涼子をはじめ、多くのタレントが長年所属した事務所からの「退所」やグループからの「卒業」を発表した。
いろいろな理由はあれ、事務所をやめて独立する人が増えているようです。これは会社勤めとも同じだと思うので、給料が上がらない、もっとやりがいのある仕事がやりたいとった理由で会社を出るのだと思うのですが、果たして経営のスキルはあるのでしょうか？誰かがサポートに入るのでしょうか？
雇われ側と経営者のスキルは異なります。有名なタレントさんは永遠に仕事が来るという前提で辞めていくのでしょうが、独立は簡単なことではないと思います。つらいことは雇われ側でいるとき以上に大きい。特に流動性の激しい業界で年齢的な衰えも役柄に影響を及ぼす業界で、ほんとうに生きていけるのか？しばらくしたらどこかの事務所に「入れてください」となっているのではないでしょうか？
最近は芸能関係に興味が全くないので、顔と名前が一致しなくなってきましたが(昔々はそちら方面の仕事を目指し、芸能関係のバイトをよくやっていましたが)、実は卒業という名の解雇であったりして？？

Today, March 31st, marks the end of the fiscal year in Japan. In the entertainment industry, many talents have announced their departure from long-time agencies or their graduation from groups, including actor Masataka Kubota and actress Ryoko Kuninaka.
There may be various reasons behind these decisions, but it seems more and more people are choosing to go independent. It’s similar to leaving a regular company job — maybe their salaries aren’t increasing, or they want to pursue work that feels more meaningful. But do they actually have the skills to manage themselves?
The skills required to be an employee and those needed to run a business are completely different. Some well-known talents might leave under the assumption that work will continue to come their way indefinitely. However, going independent is no easy task. The challenges are often far greater than people on the employee side imagine. Especially in a highly volatile industry like entertainment — where age can directly affect the types of roles available — can they really survive on their own?
In the end, we might see some of them saying, “Please take me back,” and rejoining an agency.
Personally, I’ve lost touch with the entertainment world lately — I can’t match faces to names anymore. (Although, back in the day, I aimed for a career in that field and did quite a few part-time jobs in the industry.) And I can’t help but wonder — are some of these “graduations” actually just a polite way of saying they were let go?
