本日の打ち合わせは鎌倉集合でした。待ち合わせ前に鶴岡八幡宮に行きお参りをしました。
鶴岡八幡宮は、神奈川県鎌倉市に位置する歴史的な神社で、鎌倉時代の文化や精神を象徴する重要な場所です。この神社は、源頼朝が鎌倉に幕府を開いた際に、1180年に現在の地へ遷座されたとされています。鶴岡八幡宮は、八幡神を主祭神とし、武家の守護神として信仰を集めてきました。そのため、武士の時代には特に崇敬され、鎌倉の政治的・文化的中心地としても機能していました。
この神社の敷地は、壮大で荘厳な雰囲気を醸し出しています。本宮へ続く石段からは、鎌倉の街並みを一望することができ、四季折々の風景が訪れる人々を魅了します。特に有名な太鼓橋や源氏池、平家池といったランドマークは、それぞれ深い歴史や意味を持ち、訪れる人々に静謐さと歴史的な重みを感じさせます。また、境内では季節ごとの祭りや伝統行事が行われ、多くの参拝者や観光客で賑わいます。
こちらも外国人が多くて、外国人が日本のお寺に何をお参りするのか？何語で神様にお願いごとをするのかは気になるところです。
その後鎌倉から大船に移動して3時間打ち合わせ。打ち合わせをしたホテイ産業研究所の白石さんは８年の付き合いがありますが、よく同じような境遇だとお話している先輩経営者。クライアントさんではあるものの、いろいろな悩みを相談したりしています。経営者の悩みは程度は違えどだいたい同じ。日々お金の心配は尽きません。
Today’s meeting was scheduled to take place in Kamakura. Before the meeting, I visited Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine to pay my respects.
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, located in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a historic Shinto shrine that stands as a symbol of the culture and spirit of the Kamakura period. This shrine was relocated to its current site in 1180 by Minamoto no Yoritomo when he established the Kamakura Shogunate. Dedicated to Hachiman, the deity of warriors, it has long been revered as the protector of samurai. During the era of the samurai, it was particularly respected and served as the political and cultural heart of Kamakura.
The shrine grounds exude a grand and solemn atmosphere. From the stone steps leading to the main hall, visitors can enjoy a sweeping view of Kamakura’s cityscape, with seasonal landscapes that captivate all who come. Landmark features such as the Taiko Bridge, Genji Pond, and Heike Pond each have profound historical significance, offering a serene and deeply historical experience. Seasonal festivals and traditional events bring vibrant activity to the grounds, attracting both worshippers and tourists alike.
There were many foreign visitors as well, which made me curious about what they pray for at a Japanese shrine and in which language they make their wishes.
Afterward, I traveled from Kamakura to Ofuna for a three-hour meeting. I met with Mr. Shiraishi of Hotei Industrial Research, someone I’ve known for eight years. He’s a senior entrepreneur with whom I often discuss how we share similar experiences. While he’s technically a client, I find myself frequently consulting with him on various concerns. The worries of business owners, though varying in degree, are largely the same, and financial concerns are a constant part of daily life.
