今生成AIを活用した事業を始めるというのは、から揚げ屋やタピオカ屋をやるようなものだ。つまり猫も杓子も、どいつもこいつも生成AIでこんなことができます、と雨後の筍のように乱立する可能性がある。
生成AIを活用するのはいいが、事業にしてはいけない。生成AIは自身がクレバーで活用できなければ使いこなせるものではないと思っている。地頭力がない人が生成AIを活用して、正しい情報かどうかもわからないなんて普通にあるだろうし、そもそもどういう質問したらいいかプロンプトがめちゃくちゃなことが想定される。
もともと頭があまりクレバーでないと、しゃべりが抽象的すぎて「？？？」と相手に考えさせてしまう。自身はそれが具体的だと思っていても相手が「もっと具体的に」と言っている時点で、自分の知識不足、表現力不足を嘆くべきなのだ。嘆くことなく成長はありえない。成長しない人はねげくこともなく、それが最高と思っているわけだから。そんな人間が生成AI使ったとしても、あいまいな表現が出てきて「これスゲー」と思うのだろう。だから出てきた回答もレベルが低いのだ。
何が言いたいかというと、生成AIは万能でないので、プロンプト次第で回答が良くも悪くもなる。「生成AIでこんなことができます」を唱える事業者がいたら、必ずそこに「生成AIはプロンプト次第で回答に大きな違いが現れます。できるだけ崇高で正しい答えを導きたいなら、自身の質問の仕方を十分研究の上、行うようにしてください」といった注意書きを書いておくならまだ親切だと思う。

Using generative AI itself is fine, but turning it into a business is another matter entirely. I believe that generative AI is not something that can be properly utilized unless the user is clever and capable. People lacking fundamental thinking skills may not even be able to discern whether the information generated is accurate. Furthermore, they likely won’t know how to ask the right questions — their prompts will be all over the place.
If a person is not inherently sharp, their way of speaking will often be too abstract, leaving others confused and wondering, “What exactly do you mean?” Even if the speaker thinks they are being clear, when someone asks for more specifics, it’s a sign of their lack of knowledge and poor communication skills. Without acknowledging and reflecting on this, growth is impossible. Those who never reflect will never improve; they simply assume they are already good enough. When such people use generative AI, they end up creating vague prompts and are easily impressed by equally vague responses, saying, “Wow, this is amazing!” The results, naturally, will be subpar.
The point I want to make is this: generative AI is not omnipotent. The quality of its output depends heavily on the quality of the prompt. If you encounter a business claiming, “Look what generative AI can do,” it would at least be kind of them to include a disclaimer like this:
“Please note that generative AI’s responses vary significantly depending on how you frame your questions. If you wish to obtain noble and accurate answers, you should thoroughly study and refine your questioning skills.”
