「ラフを作成するのにも、画像に透かしが入っていると見栄えが悪いので、Photoshopのスタンプツールでひたすら消すということもやっていました」──アドビが5月29日に公開した、ヤクルトの事例記事が物議を醸している。ストックフォトの利用法に関する記述についてSNSで批判が相次ぎ、アドビは6月3日までに記事を修正した。
今写真安いからね。クライアント案件なら、その写真は請求すればいいだけで、そこをけちるというのもどうかと思いますね。もちろん、透かし入りだと、写真の代金もバレるので原価しか取れないというのもありますが。
うるさい時代になりましたね。

Stock photos are cheap these days. If it’s a client project, you can just include the cost in the invoice, so there’s really no need to cut corners. Of course, once there’s a watermark on the image, the client can see how much it costs — which means you can only charge them the original price.
We really are living in a nitpicky era now, aren’t we?
